Most people have never had the difference explained. Prices are per model and are starting points; final quotes depend on the model, the detail, and how many you need.
Single D&D heroes and one-off models are welcome too, priced per piece. Ask for a quote and I'll give you a straight answer.

About
I'm Jeremy, a local miniature painter and the person behind Just Start Painting. I paint commissions across a range of styles and skill levels, from quick battle-ready units to display centerpieces.
My whole approach is that painting is a skill you build, not a talent you're born with. That shows up in how I work with clients: I'll meet you where you are, explain what you're paying for, and never make you feel like you should already know it all.
When I'm not painting for clients, I run a growing community of painters helping each other get better, one model at a time.
The community
It's a friendly community where painters of every level share their work and help each other improve. Total beginners are welcome, and there's no such thing as a dumb question. Come hang out, post what you're working on, and pick up something new.
